Her fans knew her as "the Sweetheart of 54th Street”.  Josie Divine was a legendary jazz singer.  She fell head-over-heels in love with "Fast-buck" Freddie, an alcoholic actor who abused and eventually killed her.  Soon Josie awakens in the Bardo, the place between life and death.  It is here she meets her Higher Self who conducts Josie’s exit interview to determine the role that she’ll play in her next life. If Josie proves to be cosmically conscious,  she can help to co-create her next incarnation.  If not, she will be placed into a life where she is given a chance to learn the same lessons over again and (hopefully) evolve to a higher state of consciousness.
