My yarns are dyed in small batches and variations will occur between skeins. I recommend alternating skeins while knitting/crocheting/weaving to avoid noticeable differences when changing skeins. When purchasing multiple skeins I will do my best to make sure that all skeins come from the same batch and match them to the best of my ability.
